Lauren and Brandon's Engagement Shoot in San Juan Capistrano

Lauren and Brandon are an adorable couple who love camping together. Their favorite camping spot is Big Sur, so we used that as our inspiration for their engagement photo shoot. We collaborated with Kaylee Sizemore of The Tangled Vine, Itty Bitty Sweets and Brett Hickman Photography to create an amazing Big Sur Camping Trip look customized just for Lauren and Brandon in pretty green, orange and blue. 

The Tangled Vine found some great rustic and vintage furniture and props as well as created the gorgeous florals for the shoot. Itty Bitty Sweets made some beautiful and delicious cupcakes and mini pies complete with adorable heart cut outs to add some sweetness to this engagement shoot. Lauren and Brandon took off for Big Sur the very next day!

A Girl After My Own Heart.....

When I met Lindsay we instantly hit it off. I love when you sit down with someone and 5 minutes in you feel as comfortable with them as if you had grown up next door to them and hung out everyday after school. That's the kind of girl Lindsay is. Very open and warm with a very strong sense of who she is. She is the girl that started planning her wedding the day she was introduced to the idea of a wedding and being a bride. I love that. She's knows exactly the kind of wedding she wants down to the last detail. She wants to create a unique experience for the guests at her wedding and trust me....that is my dream bride. She and Kevin will be married at The Langham in Pasadena in October of this year. Their wedding style is Romantic  sultry, gothic, vintage, rich and a little bit rock n' roll.....oh yeah....spicy....just like Lindsay. Enjoy these photos from their Engagement shoot. Homespun Romance.....

Cassie is sweet and beautiful. It sounds so over simplified but as I think about it, it's not complicated and neither is Cassie. She is just a beautiful person who is humble and doesn't need fanfare to walk into a room. I love that about her and I think the fact that she is authentic makes her extraordinary. I also love that she is a size zero and I think ate Candy Corns for lunch that day ;) Brad is incredibly warm and clearly up for anything since he allowed us to basically use him as our life size Ken doll for this engagement shoot. He took it all in stride and made it fun. An attitude that will come in handy for marriage ;) I am very blessed and excited to be planning their February wedding. Their wedding will be filled with beautiful, understated elements where every flower, every quilt, every homemade candy, and every personal touch will bring back a warm memory. Enjoy!

William & Stephanie...

I am so excited to work with my cute little East Coast couple! They will be married on October 16th, 2011 at the hip, new Casino in San Clemente. We had so much fun at our first meeting together and as usual Kelly and I were bantering about their wedding and providing comedy at no additional charge...lol;) William and Stephanie were rolling with it and I think we all walked away excited to be working with fun, down-to-earth people. This Year's Love....

Ok...so my cute little bride Michelle is smokin' hot in this engagement shoot! Andrew is of course rocking it in his own way so we have to give him a little love too ;) Inspired by music and art, it is only fitting that they would have their engagement session at Disney Hall in downtown LA and be married at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Michelle and Andy have enlisted some amazing musicians to provide music throughout their wedding day and with a bridal party of singles I have a feeling I will be doing more partying than planning ;) I am so honored to work with both of them and have a serious crush on this shoot! I just had to share some photos from the engagement session of my sweet Bride & Groom, Candice & Jason. I have such a crush on these images thanks to the ultra-talented Tracey Hanson of 2 Rings And  Dress. I love watching the playful spirit between Candice & Jason. I'm so excited to plan their wedding at Rancho Las Lomas in November of this year! They're the couple that will be holding hands and flirting when they're 80. I love that.
