Celebration of Love

I have always believed that Valentine's Day was a day to celebrate love. The ones you love and the things you love. It's not just about people in love but people who love. We often have a picture in our mind of what we think Valentine's Day represents and as we all know, it's not always warm and fuzzy ;)

This year, I challenge you to make a list of love. People, places, things, moments, & memories that speak love into your life. As a person who is continually surrounded by love in my job, I am aware of how abundant it is if I make a habit of looking for it in my life. It can be as profound as the way I love my husband and my son or as silly as how excited I get over the perfect shade of nail polish that I swear I don't already have. It can be as deep as my love for music and art or as fun as my obsession with Bond No. 9 Perfume. It all matters and it all brings me joy. Of course, it would not be Valentine's Day without our secret crushes....like my LOVE for 70's AOR music or a marathon of Millionaire Matchmaker. So however you plan to spend this Valentine's Day, just know that you love and are loved and that's all that matters.....well, that and a good list of gift ideas to give your loved one! An old flame....

I am still not quote sure how it happened but it did. I forgot a former love of mine. Life is so full and busy. From holidays to family to business, one day rolls into the next and I feel like I'm barely on my second cup of coffee. Let me say again that life is full and I am more than grateful for the million little "busy's" that make up my life and career. That being said, I could always use a few more moments where I curl up with a stack of magazines to ooh and ah over all things girly and tag my favs. Well...it took one of my brides to remind me of an old crush of mine....Cathy Waterman. In my opinion...there are no words to describe the delicate and completely artful beauty of her pieces. My chic little bride had the most gorgeous engagement ring. Choosing the color of your bridesmaids dresses is always a fun part of creating the big day! I happen to love these very simple but outstanding dresses by Alfred Sung. I am in love with the bold and bright colors for each and every dress. Not to mention the great A-line cut and necklines :)

What you decide to wear underneath you wedding gown is all up to you! Some choose to go with white and simple, some colorful and playful, and others sexy and sophisticated.
