I live in the OC. I love it. I grew up here. To me it is home and I suppose I don't see it's flaws the way many do. I think when you have memories of a place that date back 20 years +, you tend to embrace everything about it and you learn to love it for all it is and was to you. Sometimes I swear even the air is different and the way it smells reminds me of walking home from grade school. Today, the OC has a different association and most people go right to "The Real Housewives Of Orange County" in their minds. When I met Candice and Jason, I'm not gonna lie, the first thing I thought was...gorgeous couple...and they are. After working with them for the last year, and at the risk of sounding VERY cliche, their outward beauty is no match for their inner beauty as people. Their love for family and each other was unlike any I have seen and I think her Dad cried every chance we gave him. Candice and I had to laugh when a week before the wedding, her took her to get an oil change and proudly announced to the mechanic that he was "the father of the bride"...you have to love that. Then there is Jason whose main concern a week before the wedding was not his buddies or himself but that his late Grandmother whom he dearly loved was properly acknowledged during the ceremony. I guess it's just not something you see everyday. When all was said and done and the day arrived, we figured out that I had gone to grade school with some of her family and that my 3rd grade crush was actually her cousin! Thankfully...he didn't hold that against me and we all had a laugh. Candice & Jason are the kind of people who make me love what I do. Beautiful and stylish as they are...they are real. My clients became friends and I am truly blessed. www.invitingoccasion.com
