Completely in love with this engagement session shot by Sargeant Creative. One thing I love about Nicole & Billy is their down to earth & relaxed vibe. Their love for each other is effortless and they are a perfect match on so many levels. I could not be more thrilled to be planning their July wedding at the gorgeous Rancho Las Lomas. Partnering with Kimberlyn of 24 Carrots and Larrissa of Inviting Occasion to deliver an unforgettable wedding day. Cathy's Haute Tea Party

 

    A chic and sophisticated outdoor rooftop Tea Party event, captured by the wonderful Brett Hickman.  Creating the feel of a joyful, elegant and loving environment.  Making the space playful, using ribbon and adding a touch of elegance with crystal chandeliers hanging from above.  The flowers by the amazing Inviting Occasion floral and delicious food from 24 carrots catering, really bring in a colorful, organic, and fresh feel to really pull the whole event look together with style. The guests finished off the afternoon participating in decorating couture Easter eggs. They are very serious about their Easter egg décor….Faberge has nothing on them! Enjoy ;)

I adore Nina & Brian and I think the color palette for their wedding is to die for. A gorgeous feasting table created by Larrissa and her team was the centerpiece of the wedding. They enjoyed an amazing dinner courtesy of 24 Carrots and Mike Carcano created the perfect vibe musically. The rustic backdrop of Bella Colina mixed with the Johnathan Adler inspired decor made for a unique blend that our bride and groom fell in love with. Celebration of Love

I have always believed that Valentine's Day was a day to celebrate love. The ones you love and the things you love. It's not just about people in love but people who love. We often have a picture in our mind of what we think Valentine's Day represents and as we all know, it's not always warm and fuzzy ;)

This year, I challenge you to make a list of love. People, places, things, moments, & memories that speak love into your life. As a person who is continually surrounded by love in my job, I am aware of how abundant it is if I make a habit of looking for it in my life. It can be as profound as the way I love my husband and my son or as silly as how excited I get over the perfect shade of nail polish that I swear I don't already have. It can be as deep as my love for music and art or as fun as my obsession with Bond No. 9 Perfume. It all matters and it all brings me joy. Of course, it would not be Valentine's Day without our secret crushes....like my LOVE for 70's AOR music or a marathon of Millionaire Matchmaker. So however you plan to spend this Valentine's Day, just know that you love and are loved and that's all that matters.....well, that and a good list of gift ideas to give your loved one! Here's mine.... hope my husband is reading...wink wink ;) Here's to a Happy Valentine's Day and to love making your world go round ;)
